Finishes
We use only pure clay to build our instruments. No chemicals or glazes are used for the finishes, just clay on clay. Terra Sigillata is an old Roman technique we have adapted for this, which keeps the sound more open than if the shell was sealed with glaze. As a result, they breath more and quickly adapt to the warmth of the hands.
